TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tranquil Elusions Travel Management is home-based agency sponsored by International Vacations, Inc.  We sell and facilitate various travel arrangements and services on behalf of a number of different travel suppliers. Our suppliers consist of airlines, tour operators, hotels, cruise lines, other transport operators, other accommodation providers and other principal suppliers.  References to “us”, “we” and/or “our” in these booking terms and conditions shall mean Tranquil Elusions Travel Management.

1.  Booking

To book travel arrangements with Tranquil Elusions Travel Management, please use our website or contact us by phone to begin the booking process.  All travelers are required to complete a Client Profile form to start the booking process.  Once received, confirmation of all information submitted, is made by phone or other forms of messaging.  A travel quote will then be provided to the travel party leader for review and approval.  The travel party leader is responsible for all payments due to us and must be at least 18 when the booking is made.  By paying the deposit, the travel party leader accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf all members of the party and confirms that he/she is so authorized to do so by all other members of the party. The confirmation invoice will be sent to the travel party leader. Please check these documents carefully as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if any information that appears on the confirmation or any other document appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be possible
to make changes later. We regret we cannot accept any liability if we are not notified of any inaccuracies (for which we are responsible) in any document within 24 hours of our sending it out. You must ensure that the name of each party member given to us at the time of booking matches the name exactly as it appears on that travel party member’s passport, used for travel on this booking.

2.   Prices

All quoted prices are subject to availability and may vary without notice. The quoted price is only guaranteed once paid for in full. Price changes can occur between the time you make a reservation and the date of full payment. Factors influencing price changes can be currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and other provider increases outside of our control.

3.  Payment

Payments are accepted by credit or debit card only. A deposit as specified on your quote or as advised by your travel consultant, must be paid at the time of booking.  Failure to pay for all travel arrangements within the stated deadlines will result in automatic cancellation of the booking.  All payments are made to the principal supplier. Your consent for booking authorizes us to pass on your credit card details to the principal supplier.  When your credit card is processed you agree to not have your payment ‘charged back’ or reversed by your credit card provider where the services have been provided.

4.  Travel Insurance

Without travel insurance you are personally liable for covering any emergency changes to travel arrangements, medical and/or any other associated costs you may incur while traveling.  The purchase of travel insurance is highly encouraged and recommended at the time of booking.  Please read your policy details carefully and take them with you during your travels. It is your responsibility to review and ensure that the insurance coverage you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs.

5.  Passports, Visa and Health Requirements

All travelers must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond the period of intended stay.  Some countries require a longer validity. We recommend that you check the entry requirements of the countries you plan to visit or transit, including all visa requirements, with the relevant foreign embassy or consulate. In addition, some countries require you to be vaccinated against specific infection and/or diseases.  It is the travel party leader’s responsibility to ensure that all members of the party are in possession of all necessary travel and health
documents before departure. You must pay all costs incurred in obtaining such documentation. We can only provide general information about this. You must check requirements for your own specific circumstances with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates and your own doctor as applicable. Requirements do change and you must check the up to date position in good time before departure.

Tranquil Elusions Travel Management cannot accept any liability if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure on your part to carry all required documentation or otherwise comply with any passport, visa, immigration requirements or health formalities

6.  Booking Cancellation and Amendment Charges

If you wish to make any alterations to your confirmed holiday the party leader must notify us as soon as possible in writing. The cancellation or change to reservations may incur fees and penalties imposed the supplier.  In some cases, Tranquil Elusions Travel Management may charge cancellation and/or amendment fees in addition to those imposed by the supplier.  Please ensure that you are aware of all amendment or cancellation fee schedules contained within your travel confirmation documents before entering into a transaction. Please note that some air travel and other travel arrangement bookings may be non-refundable.  We cannot guarantee that any request will be met. If we can make the requested change you will be provided with a quote detailing any additional costs incurred by ourselves and any costs or charges incurred or imposed by any of our suppliers

Please note that some accommodations are priced according to the number of people in the booking. If you wish to change the size of your party, the per person cost of the vacation package for other members may increase significantly and that some airline tickets cannot be changed once booked, without incurring considerable cost.

7.  Refunds

If you cancel your travel arrangements and a refund is due, the refund will be made available to you once we received the monies from the supplier involved. In some cases, you may not be able to claim a refund.  However, to the extent that the cancellation terms of the arrangements with the underlying suppliers allow us to recover any funds paid, we will notify you and make arrangements to repay this to you.  In all cases your deposit will be non-refundable.

8.  Travel Documents

While we have taken great care to check your travel documents, it is important that you review all of the information in the documents including but not limited to, your name, travel dates and other particulars relating to your travel arrangements. Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider.

9.  Flight Schedule Changes

It is important to check your flight times at least 24 hours prior to the departure of each flight as airlines reserve the right to amend their flight schedules.  It is a requirement of some airlines that all onward and return flights are reconfirmed at least 72 hours before departure. Therefore it is essential that you contact the appropriate airline or our representatives on arrival to reconfirm your flights. Remember to check current timings as they are subject to change and we recommend that, where possible, guests check in on-line 24 hours prior to departure.

10.  Accuracy of Information and Limitation of Liability

Tranquil Elusions Travel Management does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or performance of the services offered by the supplier and we will not be liable in the event that you suffer loss, injury or disappointment by reason of any undertakings or failings of any supplier.  However we will assist you with mitigating any issues you may incur in the best way possible.
